Lab82 is a new brand and the in-house digital product studio for nuom, delivering its HealthTech solutions. As a business, we are growth-oriented and aim to create new businesses and opportunities, either independently or in partnership with other organisations. We are looking to spin out two new companies a year, with nuom and Lab82 being the starting point in 2024.
We are seeking a talented and creative Content Designer to join our team and support both nuom and Lab82. If you have a passion for visual storytelling and design, we want to hear from you!
Job Description
As a Content Designer, you will be responsible for creating visually compelling content that supports our marketing efforts and enhances our brand identity. You will work closely within a small but driven team to design graphics, videos, and other multimedia assets that engage our audience across various platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Design graphics, infographics, and visual content for social media, website, and other digital platforms.
Produce and edit video content, including promotional videos and tutorials.
Develop visual assets that align with brand guidelines and enhance our brand’s visual identity.
Collaborate with the content and marketing team to create engaging and interactive content.
Stay up-to-date with design trends and best practices to ensure content is fresh and innovative.
Assist in developing visual elements for presentations, reports, and other corporate materials.
Requirements
1-3 years of experience in graphic design, multimedia content creation, or a related field.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and other design tools such as Figma.
Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design and multimedia projects.
Excellent understanding of design principles, typography, and colour theory.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple projects and deadlines.

Location
Hybrid (3 days onsite in Nottingham).
Schedule
Our operating hours are Monday through Friday, 9-5 UK time. While you don't have to work strictly within those hours, we expect you to complete your work by the end of your day on Friday.

Video Interview
A 20-minute video call to get to know each other better. We will discuss the role in more detail and see if it matches your qualifications and aspirations.
Take-Home Exercise
To assess your design and communication skills, we’ll give you a small project to complete on your own time. We don’t expect you to spend more than an hour on it.
Second Interview
A 1-hour interview with team members, split into two parts:
First part: You present your work and discuss your design choices.
Second part: You will be asked further questions.
Final Interview
An in-person interview at our Nottingham office.
