At nuom, we work with HealthTech companies to drive growth by creating better experiences. We leverage human-centred design, experimentation, and design thinking to innovate in the HealthTech space. Our collaborative approach with patients and healthcare providers ensures that our solutions are effective, practical, and aligned with real-world needs. This strategy drives growth, enhances accessibility, and improves the overall patient experience in healthcare.

Lab82 is a new brand and the in-house digital product studio for nuom, delivering its HealthTech solutions. As a business, we are growth-oriented and aim to create new businesses and opportunities, either independently or in partnership with other organisations. We are looking to spin out two new companies a year, with nuom and Lab82 being the starting point in 2024.

We are seeking a creative and driven Content Writer to join our team and support both nuom and Lab82. If you have a talent for storytelling and a passion for creating engaging content, we want to hear from you!

Job Description

As a Content Writer, you will be responsible for producing high-quality written content that aligns with our brand and engages our target audience. You will work closely within a small but dedicated team to develop compelling stories and content strategies that drive awareness, generate leads, and accelerate growth for the two brands.

Key Responsibilities

  • Write and edit website content, publish blog posts, articles, and long-form content on various platforms.

  • Create and manage content for social media channels, particularly LinkedIn.

  • Develop email newsletters and promotional email campaigns.

  • Conduct keyword research and optimise content for SEO.

  • Collaborate with the team to develop content strategies and editorial calendars.

  • Monitor and analyse content performance metrics, making data-driven adjustments as needed.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience in content writing, marketing, or a related field.

  • Excellent writing and communication skills with strong attention to detail.

  • Strong understanding of SEO and best practices.

  • Experience in LinkedIn content creation would be a plus.

  • Ability to research and understand complex topics, translating them into clear and engaging content.

  • Strong organisational skills.

Location

Hybrid (3 days onsite in Nottingham).

Schedule

Our operating hours are Monday through Friday, 9-5 UK time. While you don't have to work strictly within those hours, we expect you to complete your work by the end of your day on Friday.

Video Interview

A 20-minute video call to get to know each other better. We will discuss the role in more detail and see if it matches your qualifications and aspirations.

Take-Home Exercise

To assess your design and communication skills, we’ll give you a small project to complete on your own time. We don’t expect you to spend more than an hour on it.

Second Interview

A 1-hour interview with team members, split into two parts:

  • First part: You present your work and discuss your choices.

  • Second part: You will be asked further questions.

Final Interview

An in-person interview at our Nottingham office.
